   Hello All and Welcome to Flies by Britton !  I Hope Everyone is doing well and has had a Merry Christmas, Happy Holiday and a very Happy New Year. Thank You for stopping by and hope to see you on the River or at the Fly Fishing shows. Tightlines' Shawn.

   The Home of Custom Fly Tying, Flies by Britton is located in the Northwest corner of Connecticut just minutes from two of New England's premier Trout fisheries - The Farmington River and The Housatonic River. These are my home waters where I grew up fishing and hunting, the perfect waters in which to offer my instruction and guided fishing trips. I also enjoy angling and guiding on the smaller streams and when the conditions are right you'll even find me just the same on a few of the local lakes and backwood ponds. Over the years I have specialized in Custom Fly Tying. Patterns from old to new for Freshwater, Saltwater, Steelhead and more. All of my special order flies are tied on only the best of hooks and with the best of materials, tied by me right here in Connecticut, USA. This site is a work still in progress and as always if you have any inquiries about Custom Flies tied for you, Guide trips during the Winter, or anything else fishing related please feel free to contact me. 

   Meanwhile Any Guide Services or Special Fly Pattern Request or Fly Orders can be purchased by Paypal through secure invoicing via e-mail to you, until the store end of the sight is set up.
